About Me
Hi! I’m Pengyuan, a Ph.D. student in Robotics at Purdue University, where I am advised by Prof. Yu She. I’m a recipient of the Burrer Family Award from the Edwardson School of Industrial Engineering.
Previously, I earned my Master’s degree in Robotics from Purdue University.
Research Interests
I am interested in developing reliable, adaptive, and generalizable robotic systems for real-world manipulation. My research explores how robots can understand the 3D world, reason about complex tasks, and adapt during execution. My interests lie at the intersection of robot foundation models and agentic reasoning, reinforcement learning, and applied optimal control, with applications in factory and household settings.
